Photography at night brings about a whole new set of challenges.
When taking photographs in daylight you learn to rely on your light meter, but at the same time you develop an instinctive understanding of the lighting and the correct settings to use to take a photo.
Over time you find you can shoot on instinct even when your light meter is out of action and still get good results.
Night time photography however means that, unless you have a light meter which can cope with night lighting, you have to work purely on instinct.
